I live and play in Oxford, North Carolina where I grew up enjoying my youth exploring the natural world surrounded by a multitude of plants and animals.  Art has always been an important part of my life, experimented with using different mediums and techniques.  In 2019 I received a Certificate in Botanical Art and Illustration at the UNC Botanical Garden in Chapel Hill North Carolina.  Being fascinated by nature, this artistic endeavor has added a new detailed layer as has my recent involvement with the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators-Carolina.
